This is the Milla Jovovich series, not the reboot or the animated. These are more action with a zombie theme. I think what makes them fun and successful, is that they don’t try to just duplicate the games. They borrow from the games and use many of the characters, locations, creatures and even scenes. But they also have their own story, which focuses on a character made for the movies. All smart choices. Not the best movies, but lots of action.
