Another anthology movie. Takes place on Christmas Eve with a couple attending a play. Like most of the anthologies, some of the short stories are better than others. Not as good as Creepshow but about on par with Tales from the Darkside. There is a SAW story, another similar to Advent, A Christmas Carol (of course), and a home invasion, and a sci-fi alien invasion – all with a theme based on “Night Before Christmas” song lyrics. Then there is the bookend piece of the actors doing the play which leaves you hanging a bit. Pretty gory for the most part.
