The first question is - Is this as good as the original?
Personally, I hate that question. The original came out 30 years ago and many remember it fondly through the portal of faulty memory over time.
So, let me say, I think its a good movie. I had fun watching it. it was great that they brought almost everyone back (sorry Aiden Quinn) and added the next generation. The story made sense and was a good continuation.
If you like the first one, I'd say to watch this one and enjoy.
