Welcome to our first side dish – a quick talk about a great public domain horror movie. In fact, this one is the first recognized horror movie – House of the Devil from Georges Méliès. While it’s short – 3 minutes – its fascinating to see this put together and be a horror movie (loosely defined).

If you thought the original was fun and great, you’ll enjoy the sequel because it’s more of the same. If you thought the original was stupid and corny you’ll think the same of the sequel.

It stars a wrestler, so you know that was the biggest draw. But it’s actually not horrible. Santa’s curse to be nice is up and he’s coming to take revenge on the angel that put him there. Devil Takes a Holiday – Holiday Feast
Surprisingly, this was better than I thought. Group of people get together for the holiday and Satan inhabits their turkey. I felt it could have had just a bit more to get the story and empathize with the characters. But their were some interesting characters.
