Overview Classic story and classic movie. This story has been redone multiple times - I mean, who doesn't like movies with the devil - but this definitely the one to watch. It has fantastic effects for a silent film. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0016847...

Appetizers

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy – Appetizer Review

Not connected to any of the other Mummy movies. It's a good movie with an interesting plot. I felt it was more like one of the Evil Dead movies. Worth seeing. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32612507 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Cronin%27s_The_Mummy...

Weapons – Appetizer Review

Interesting movie. I might classify it more as a thriller told with horror elements. A mystery where we get the story doled out in vignettes from different characters perspectives and they keep adding, layering and meshing. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26581740...

Final Destination 5 – Appetizer Review

We know the story - same as the last 4. The only reason to watch this is the same reason to watch slasher movies - what gruesome deaths will they show. The ending twist was fun. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1622979 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Destination_5...

 About the Podcast

Do you like horror movies?

Think you've seen all of them?

Maybe you're tired of the same horror schlock?

Hey, this is the right place for you. A couple of buddies that have watched horror movies since their single digit years, with an emphasis on the B rated stuff. None of that fancy, expensive Hollywood stuff.

Better, we have a bona fide expert on horror movies. Rhys has watched over 1200 scary movies and keeps notes on them - director, cost to make, country, etc along with commentary. Of course, after you watch a good horror movie (or not so good horror movie), you want to chat with your friends about it.

That's what Rhys and Stephen do - except we record it for everyone to hear. Join us as we explore a world of horror movies you might not have known existed. We pride ourselves on selecting excellent movies to tell you about. Of course, our definition of excellent may vary from yours. But we guarantee you'll enjoy each one.
