This is billed as a haunted house movie. I don’t want to give anything away, but this is one of my favorite movies of the last several years. The POV is interesting and follows a family around a house. Many long shots. It’s not a regular spooky story, but is a great build up.

A mother does a regrettable thing and 20 years later her entire family pays the price at the holidays. This killer has a good reason for his actions. It’s not bad and has Dee Wallace. If looking for a holiday horror and you like slashers, add this to your list.

Pilgrim – Holiday Feast Appetizer
This is a Hulu movie. Girl makes a wish, and like the monkey’s paw, it comes true in a twisted way. Revisit pilgrim traditions in the most horrific way. Not bad and its different because there aren’t many Thanksgiving themed horror movies.
