this is an interesting 2 movie series. The first was made in the early 70’s but set in the mid-’40’s. It’s partly a documentary because it was based on true events. They way it was filmed reminded me of the Legend of Boggy Creek.
the 2nd movie is more modern and is a continuation of the first film. not quite a sequel. In fact, the true murders are part of both, but the first film is actually mentioned and treated as a movie within this movie. Interesting. this one has more of a movie feel.
